I'd love to see an audit associate try that right now 😅 how tone deaf can you be when there's just no way the people you're actually hiring have a chance of pulling this off

Honestly I could probably see this happening, especially this year we have had a lot of flexibility on the teams I’ve worked with. As long as you’re producing solid work on time you have a lot of freedom. But it is very team dependent.

Tbf, I’ve heard other countries aren’t nearly as bad as the US in terms of hours.

It’s simple, don’t recruit to audit duh

Some of this is probably possible, but for the most part with this being client service you need to be available to the client when the client is working (business hours). Not great if the whole team is out skiing when the client is looking for them.

Maybe not during busy season, but I don’t see a problem with getting your work done mon-Thur and skiing on friday

I have skied 27 days this year. Got 55 last year a d the resorts shut down on March 14th. 60 should be no problem this year.

lol my team won’t even let me ski on saturdays

Just had a compensation discussion with my manager. I work at a big fortune 50 company. I met expectations and got back my compensation review receiving a 3% merit increase.

My boss knows I’m disappointed, and I asked to setup a follow up convo. We talked about inflation being 7.5% and I’m losing purchase power.

Other details:
Started last Jan 2021
Switching to a new role in a few weeks (manager said to talk to my new manager, LOL)
But we only have compensation adjustments once per year
