Same. Right now I hate my job and I'm strongly considering leaving. Yet, come post filling deadline I'll rave how awesome my job is. I really love the work but don't know if I can handle years of this deep cyclical stress and neglecting my family.

Then find another job and quit. Clearly, you aren’t cut out for this. Complain all you want; no one held a gun to your head to take this job. Quit, so someone with a better worth ethic can come in and get it done without bitching, things get tough.

I heard Whole Foods is hiring...

I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

Hi all! Me (nyc based) & a friend (nutritionist in india) are starting a service that provides customized 1:1 meal plans (including holistic ways to manage chronic conditions)

We’re doing a 2 month pilot, pricing it at cost ($25/ mo)- and it would include-
- 1 hr group session on better understanding your chronic conditions (if any)
- Weekly meal plan with your customizations (allergies, preferences)
- weekly 1:1 accountability check and reflection on what worked

Let me know if of interest!!

Real question: how does a hospital system using a leading EHR not know where in the facility a patient is? I’m ready to change, stop smoking and I need help, any advice will be greatly appreciated it. Thanks.

Shot in the dark here but has anyone had a septoplasty before? Just had one on Thursday and I'm miserable. I know it'll be great once they take the splints out this Wednesday but until, any tips?

I was in a very bad shape last year (major anxiety episodes, OCD flares, panic attacks) and now I'm MUCH better. I feel like one thing that helped through it was for the first time in my life opening myself to experience my spiritual side (not talking religion here).

I feel like now that i feel better overall, I'm disregarding that part of me but wishing i still had that drive to feed my spiritual self. Any ideas on how to bring it back to my life in a way that doesn't really feel forced?

Folks with kids - what's your routine for cooking, gym, home chores etc. ? We have a 2.5 year old toddler and we struggle to cook food, drop off our kid in daycare and then cook dinner and find time for working out. I am curious how other working couples organize and manage cooking, home chores gym. I am recently diagnosed with ADHD and curious how others make it work while working full time. Thanks!

I was diagnosed as Primarily Inattentive and they are starting me on meds immediately. Will things get better from here? Will, I finally become a productive human being? Should I tell my manager?

For the past 2 years I’ve felt like a shell of my former self. I know that I can be a good communicator, organized and hard-working etc. but I feel like I’ve lost all motivation to try. It’s hard to find motivation since it feels like a vicious cycle. Also feeling very self conscious applying for new jobs knowing I am like this :(
