You’re not a failure. You’ve been dealt a bad hand in terms of US immigration but the fact that you made it this far and survived means you can make it in the next phase of your career too, regardless of which country you eventually end up in.
Happy to listen to you bro/sis. Things will work out. Feel free to dm
You are too immersed in your worries ... as terrible as things may be you are lacking the perspective that comes with age. That years from today your issues will seem so small, and you will wonder why you spent your precious time, worrying about things outside your control. Breathe in, relax and go with the flow. Dont take life so seriously.
I know. That’s what I keep telling myself but it feels like there’s nothing to look forward to in life. I live alone and don’t have much friends in this city. I know it’s toxic but I’m jealous of my coworkers who have families and friends around. When they started talking about weekends and vacations I just have nothing to say. I wanna go home and just get a hug so badly

You will make it out. Get the visa. Maybe move from Assurance to Advisory or Consulting.
Don't mean to be a party pooper, but same shit there too
Celpip is kinda weird man. Make sure your speaking is good. Others are a breeze.

Take it one step at a time. Are you worried about different things? Can you do anything to control the output of these things? If yes, then do that. If not, there's no point in worrying about it. So don't stress OP!
It is perfectly normal to feel the mental stress and anxiety being at a dead end job and having to deal with immigration issues. Everyone in this bowl goes through this one way or another. You shouldn't ever feel alone. Pick yourself backup. DM if you need or find therapy - it helps to get it all off your chest to a professional.
At the end of the day, you're smart and you're going to land on your feet. Whatever country you end up in, you have a bright future ahead of you and this isn't the end of the world. More power to you 💪😊
I know I can’t control these things but it’s frustrating. I hate myself for wasting the past year of my life on depression. I have made zero new friends and spend all day feeling sorry for myself

Sounds like you’re stressed, worried and burnout, OP. Just know you’re not a failure. Getting or not getting h1b does not define your or your worth.
What’s wrong with audit? I actually find it low effort and pretty enjoyable while I wait for my CPA license to come thru.

No consulting people are smarter and much more pleasant to be around. Trust me.

Consider grad school? You need a community to engage with.
I have a master but thought about going to law school...can’t risk taking out a massive loans at this point. Trying to get a consulting job somewhere on the west coast. I have been calling around and networking but my H1B has not been approved...
Focus on what all you CAN do. Stop worrying about what you cannot control. DM me you need to just talk.
