Thoughts on Door Dash? I know it has a bad rep around here but I’m looking at a 50% raise if I jump ship, worth it?
Would love to know what another managers in non-profit humanitarian orgs are making. I’m in year two as a Regional Manager for West Africa making 50k (4 years with the same company though). Is that typical?
I live in an area where rent for a 2bd/1ba townhome costs $2000 a month(my town’s in a housing crisis), and I am considering if I need to ask for a raise to keep up with cost of living.
My law firm gives me a report that breaks down the amount of billable hours collected compared to how much I’ve been paid on a monthly basis. Does anyone else’s firm do this? At what point do you think it’s acceptable to ask for a bonus/raise?
Partners, please can you list out key questions you were asked/you ask during panel interviews for promotion to Partner?

Staff 1 to staff 2 raise % last year?
I’m about to enter my 2nd year as an Operations Data Analyst at a huge investment bank. I began with $52k and $5k bonus. I’d like to ask for a raise but unsure how much, is too much. I see online that the average pay is around $60-63k (maybe more?). Looking for advice as to how much I should ask for.
Better to transfer AmEx reward points to Delta (1:1), SPG(1:0.33) or FlyingBlue(1:1.2)?
Don't even behave an account with FlyingBlue but there is an ongoing promotion on AmEx hence the qtn.
Looking to make a transition to in-house in the biotech industry. Have some tangential experience in a specialist corporate area, but interested to know how feasible it is to learn (1) the legal aspects of what I understand to be the core duties involved (below) on the job and (2) how to go about learning through self-education (treatises, other recommendations etc)
1. Being able to raise money
2. Understanding IP portfolio management
3. Managing public company compliance/reporting/regulations
Any struggling paralegals here? Do you feel like your financial situation is affecting your productivity at work? I like the work I do but the pay really sucks. I feel like the fear of not being able to pay some bills on time is affecting my productivity. I’ve asked for a raise but that may not still cut it, and idk if that will go through or not.
Few FAQs as they can help all. I am expecting some EPAMer will respond.
1) Does EPAM Anywhere reimburse internet charges additionally?
2) How tough are client interviews?
3) I heard first month you get full salary. How's that possible if a person will be on bench?
4)Do you get laptop from project client?
5)How true is relocation buzz?
6)Can you brief about appraisal/promotion assessment? What's the process? How tough is it?
Also wanna ask how much does hr coordinators make? I am in Toronto and make 50 K but I’m the only HR at a hyper growth does not make sense I do so much for so little.. how to ask for a raise?
I’m up for a promotion from Senior Account Director to VP Group Account Director. I have 6-7 solid years of director experience and I’m based in NYC. For any experienced Group Account Directors out there, would you mind sharing your salaries? I’m aiming to be at a base of $200-205k which is a 15-20% bump from where I am now. Is that reasonable?
Anyone here work in internal audit outside of accounting? I’m being presented with a potentially fully remote job as an audit specialist for a large insurance company. It would be a promotion but I am just not sure what career paths there are. There are only 2 people that audit for the entire country and those 2 people have been in their jobs for 10+ years. I am not sure if that’s by choice or if they got stuck. Very unclear. I love the idea of teleworking but will I be forgotten about too?
I am getting a really great offer as a business analyst for a new company (35k raise from current position)
Question: I was thinking asking for a sign on bonus instead of negotiating the salary. Should I negotiate both?
I'm worried about moving to this company because the pay is alot and work life balance may suffer because more is expected ( even though they assured me work life balance is important there)

How do you know if you’re asking for “too much” of a raise when there’s little salary transparency at your agency? Coming up on my one year and have gotten nothing but positive feedback from my manager (and also mentions of “when you negotiate for a raise at your one year…”). I know I’m underpaid industry-wise and for the work I’m doing, but am worried about asking for what could equate to a 20-30% raise if that’s beyond what even my manager makes. How do you know how much to ask for?
New to freelancing, and I'm struggling. Began working with a new agency as a side gig, and one of my first projects worked me to the bone and made me realize I'm probably charging too low of a rate.
How much of a faux pas is it to raise my rate after only a month? I have a FT job that pays my bills, so I feel that should allow me to be way more picky with my freelance gigs, I just don't know how to navigate this without seeming like an asshole.

Ladies, I had dinner with a friend and his wife and my friend (also a consultant) said he was worried about me being laid off. Any of you nervous about this right now? How are you dealing with it?
It's almost every year that students find out my phone number without me giving it to them. Last year my cellphone number was given out to parents on a welcome letter from my grade level team. I was not happy about that.
Hi all- I’m making the switch from an admin to a consultant (I’m the nonprofit sphere) in the coming months. I have a good handle on the technical side of what i need to know, but having never worked for a consultancy in the past I’m wondering if y’all have any resource or tips to prepare on that front.

Wow I am so tired. I’m 12, almost 13 weeks and the fatigue has just hit me like a ton of bricks these past few weeks. It’s making it hard to focus or put in effort with work. Normally, this behavior would bother me… but I kind of don’t care? Anyone else relate?
I’m almost always the only woman, woman of color, young woman in any meeting because I’m a technical product manager. I own a major product and I’m great at my job. But it always sucks when there are a bunch of white men, they find it awkward to pronounce my name. So they end up talking amongst themselves about my product and I have to interject. Any advice on how to deal with this?

Team feels like it's falling apart. I'm responsible for it, but people says I'm a great boss, but then they move to a different company (note: not a different internal team). Everyone else seems demotivated. I do not consider myself a weak manager and this hasn't happened at other places but I'm starting to become worried, insecure, and don't know where to turn.
This question is specifically for the experienced folks. I have 1.8 YOE as a Full stack web dev( my age is 24) and have 2 offers. Same profile in both of the organization. Both are service based.

I called my client on teams after confirming on chat that she is ok to talk. I heard very low giggles as though she was trying to control, i felt like she was making out or her husband was playing with her. Felt very unprofessional, what would you have done? What is the right thing to do? Both funny and serious replies are welcome.
Did you know the ‘seat of power’ for Accenture Technology is in India? This make sense given that the market segment is where we compete with a lot of Indian-established companies like TCS, Infosys.
Lmao. Project director/partner kicked me off the project but I was also trying to get myself rolled off for multiple reasons. Not sure if I should feel happy or worried..
