If a biglaw recruiter hasn’t responded to 3 emails sent days ago re: my application after callbacks, should I assume it’s a rejection?

Does anyone still give writing tests to candidates? What are some good questions to include?

What is the longest you have gone before hearing back from a job you applied to? I applied for a job a few weeks ago and had two in person interviews, 2 weeks ago. I haven’t heard back yet. I started working in an organization starting from June this year after passing from college as an IT Trainee till now its almost 6 months but still I haven't learned anything just the team members give me small works like testing code changes and checking database. Does it mean anything specifically when a company/firm reposts their position? I went on a phone screen and it went really well (so I thought) and got the interview with a AmLaw200 firm. I thought the interview went okay but then 8 days later no contact and I saw that they reposted the position. I’ve had my position for almost 8 months and I’m ready to leave but that’s another story.

Fish, need your help. 5th year doing leveraged finance at a V20 in NYC. I’m good at my job but I hate the practice area. Was a direct hire. Ideally, would want to pivot to ECVC but would take PE M&A in a pinch. Have 4 years of international (non-US law) M&A and 1 year of international (US law) capital markets experience. Is it impossible to retool now? Given that markets are hot will I have to drop years (already dropped the 4 years of international experience so not keen to drop more).
