If a company offers free session with mental counselors and therapists as benefits, do you think this would be an indicative that the work can be bad for you? I know some insurance benefits provide it, but certain companies also offer paid sessions. Although this sounds great...I wonder if this shouldn't be seen as red flag for a toxic environment or unhealthy job in the long term.

Campus recruiters at professional service firms — has scheduling final rounds changed in a virtual world for your firm or do you still try to schedule your candidates on Fridays with a full day of back to back interviews? Is it easier or now preferred to schedule ad hoc through the week? I was on maternity leave last year during COVID and I’m curious if preferences for students (or interview teams) have changed? I would still think the former/old way is better from work planning perspective.

I've been an EA for about a decade - I've worked at Start Ups, Post-IPO companies, and Venture Capital Firms. If you are a rockstar EA and looking for a place where people are genuine and kind, I would urge you to apply at Snapchat. Going to Snapchat was the best move I ever made. They REALLY prioritize their employees, and the benefits are absolutely incredible. I hear a lot about toxic EA cultures at *certain* other companies and Snap just does not do that. (Be warned: it's a FAST pace.)

Roach under my hotel covers and was able to switch rooms - How many points for the inconvenience?

I was a stay at home mom for 10 years; had 4 children & helped my husband build a decent non legal business. I started my PI practice at end of 2019. I did great in 2020. Unexpectedly I developed inappropriate feelings for a mentor over zoom. We decided to stop working together and started therapy. I faced my horrible childhood trauma, gained confidence and realized how terrible my marriage is. Husband admits mistreating me & regrets taking advantage but thinks I’m unfair for wanting a divorce.
