If a company tells you they’ll be in touch next week and you don’t hear back the week - what does it mean? Could they just have a slow process or does it mean you’re rejected.

Tough to say. I’ve had it happen to me and they got back after 2-3 weeks which wasn’t ideal

Well at Google it means the process is taking time because we have a bunch of checks n balances and approvals take time. You can just follow up politely after a week

It never hurts if you reach out politely to ask for an update. If you were to do it every hour every day ... then it might negatively effect you.

I would assume it means slow process and reach out to them asking for an update. If it turns out they are ghosting you, well then at least you know you don't want to work for them!

Low billable, low pressure work in patent lit, tech trans or privacy law? Slowly realizing that as my boys get older, the money isn’t worth what I’m missing out on. Currently a patent litigation associate with lots of hearing, depo and trial experience (I’ve appeared on my own at hearings/depos) at a well respected firm. Have my CIPM and CIPP/US /E and /C. Just feeling the burn out; 2000 hours of billables a year just isn’t sustainable for me long term. Money isn’t a huge issue.

I have some interviews coming up this week… what are some common interview questions/answers for social media managers/content managers?

TIA!

Hi folks,
I had my 1st round tech interview on 24th July no 2nd round, then HR called on 4th evening regarding salary discussion and documents for BGV. On 4th late night got a mail CC'ing the same HR for interview on 5th Aug. I joined that session waited for 15 mins no one joined back so I texted that HR asking the purpose of the interview session he replied "Kindly ignore that no need to join that session." Any idea what's going on? Or when they will release offer letter?

I really want to do some learning and appear and get certified. But not having motivation at all.. How do you guys motivate yourself. Everytime I start a lecture I feel lazy, I pause it and sleep 😂

Twilio has over 300+ engineering openings with labeling all over the place (some say senior, some provide a level, they aren’t batched by business category, etc).
