If a job offers you money over job satisfaction would you pick it?

If it's enough to give me retirement satisfaction, yes.

Maybe. Money can give life satisfaction.

Short term, yes. But in my mind it must be a bounded period of time. No more than two years or so.

How would I know if there is job satisfaction or not if I don't take it? But I probably would

If the money being offered is wild, then Yes😁

Was lucky to get a job shortly after being laid off. Work’s not hard but feeling burned out cause of bad process, meaningless jobs on top of the pointlessness of everything happening. How you coping?

Impulsively jumped firms for better projects. I want to get pregnant & settle down. Worried I sabotaged ops to transfer internally so soon or fear need to get local gig & how my resume looks. 😬

Has anyone received/know of a HireVue request from Accenture (Federal) with the title "Introduce Yourself" under the Job Title portion? Nearly a month ago I applied to a role (with a referral) and around six months ago I had applied to another role, which is why I was curious on which role this would be in reference to. I'm also just wondering if this is a "serious" screening interview or something HR uses to keep on file (just so I can prepare accordingly). Thanks!

Have an offer with Accenture Interactive. 30% salary increase but nervous about the increase in hours. Currently pulling 40/45 at Deloitte. Can anyone provide insight into the culture at Accenture Interactive?

Worked hard, won business and asked for a raise - got 10%. Now closer to median salary for my YOE. But it’s not in effect until my first year anniversary which is 2-3 months away. Should I accept the raise or negotiate?

Considering looking for a new sales management role. I’ve only had “promote from within” sales manager roles where I started as an IC and continue to manage my book while selling. I’d like to make a switch and start in a management only role. Any recommendations on companies? I have 6 years of top producing IC sales experience and a little over 4 years of management experience.

What's S&C's compensation compared to Strategy? Close? On par?

ACN 🐟 Is there a reason why the benefits package is hush hush? I'd like to compare my current package to the one ACN offers and I was told by the recruiter that they can't give it to me. I'm not asking for cost, just what's covered. Which honestly, not even saying how much it'll cost you is weird, too.

@Accenture sharks: I am currently in the process of interviewing for a Consultant role in Finance Transformation in NYC. What should I negotiate for in terms of salary? Any other advice on the interview process? Honestly, from how much I make right now, it feels wrong to negotiate up to an increase of more than double.

Hi all, my H1B got approved today and I am waiting on the actual physical notice. In parallel I have a L2 EAD extension request in process. My H1B is valid from oct 1 only. Can I withdraw my L2 tomorrow? Is it okie if I am out of status for nine days? I am worried that the L2 will get approved. If it does get approved, what do I do?

Not comp related but a question on references: I’ve only had 2 direct managers, current one is nice but I can’t let him know I’m interviewing. Previous one was a bully and I made clear that I cut contact with him when I left (he later had to contact me for non-essential work related stuff but I declined to talk). I have other references I could use, but want to prep for situation when employers ask “why can’t we talk to your previous manager.” Thanks!
