Hi guys, I have accept the offer letter but due to some reason I want to extend DOJ (initial DOJ + 8 days). So, I mail her about this she told me start working on pre-joining formalities we will share new DOJ shortly. But it's been a two day's I haven't got any mail. So, How many day's it will take to revised offer with new DOJ ? Should I poke her every day ?

Do you ever find yourself as just a “meeting scheduler” to one senior leader and an account manager to another? It’s exhausting & my role isn’t defined anywhere so I sort of understand. How do I deal?

I left my 1st job out of college 2 years ago. I know people who went back. And lately I’ve been considering it a lot. It was a small federal contracting company. The client was amazing. I left because I wanted to explore what a bigger company had to offer. Would it be weird to reach out to see if there’s any possibility of coming back? Left on a great note and am still in touch with a lot of people there. I just really miss the team, client, low stress, flexibility (alternative work schedule).

What are the profit center jobs at FAANG (other than engineering)? Product management? I know tax and accounting people get paid peanuts because they are cost centers.

Completed final round of interviews. Awaiting decision but recruiter has asked for 2-3 references and at least one from current employer. I can get one from a former client and one from a peer at D. Is that ok? Or should I tell them I can provide current employer reference if they extend the offer?

Recruiting idea: How about offering hiring managers 2 months of free work and no salary? If they like it, they can continue paying for it at a pre determined salary. If not, they let you go. Simple?
