If a pure employment law firm has a solid mix of private clients and insurance carriers, would you still call it insurance defense?

No, I generally don’t consider EPLI “insurance defense”. When I think “insurance defense”, I think slip and falls or fender benders

10 year insurance defense veteran here, now in house. Trust me, I know how hard it is to climb out of that pit. Congrats!

No. I work in one of these shops. EPLI is sort of the future of employment discrimination claims. I don’t love dealing with adjusters but it’s a different animal than pure ID

like

EPLI adjusters are much more reasonable in my experience. We rarely have to cut or dispute time on these cases

I’m a nursing home administrator and things have become so challenging in the industry I’m thinking of making a career change but I’m totally lost as to what i should do! Any suggestions about career pivots from healthcare administration? I just don’t see a light at the end of the COVID tunnel and nursing shortage in our country. Nurses have become so difficult to work with, there’s no loyalty, they leave and don’t give proper notice, the minute a better offer comes along they are out.

I saw another similar post but the OP is an RN, and I didn’t know how much that information would apply to me as an LPN.
