My firm does a firm wide attorney retreat/meeting this summer. I’ll be about 25 weeks pregnant and I have to fly there with my local team/office. I’m very, very nervous about getting COVID while pregnant and I work with people who are generally lax around Covid to begin with. What would you do? I have insomnia and am bored so, story time. My first creative “partner” in my college portfolio class was so awful and controlling to work with. It came to the point where I was so anxious, I dropped the class 3 weeks in. Two years and a finished portfolio later, I am proud to say that I get to write copy with an amazing creative team. Today the “partner” now works in account management. I feel like I won? My anxiety has improved so much since then, If anything I want to highlight that.

Super bummed out because I weighed in at 149 lbs this morning. For context, I’m a 6’1” man and I’ve been lifting heavy for over a year now. Never thought I’d be this light.

I was always a heavier set kid, heaviest I’ve been was 205 lbs back when I was a 5’6” little bozo in the 10th grade. Since then I’ve gotten taller but my weight continued to jump around 155-190 throughout the years as I pushed through unhealthy yo-yo habits.

PSA: yesterday I was depressed. Instead of looking at my phone more and continuing to apply to jobs, I went for a walk sand phone. I felt SO much better after. Take time to get away from a screen!
