I have a recruiter showing me a general overview of FTI Consulting saying that compensation would consist of base salary + monthly qualified billables + 10% to 20% annual bonus. Is this similar to A&M (% of billable hours)? I'm currently in TS but am looking for a boost in compensation, more than a public accounting firm can offer. What kind of $ are FTI seniors making in this market?

Lately I’ve been feeling pay by bracket policy is very counter productive. When I came from my prev company, I had salary at the higher bracket due to market correction and novartis offer coinciding. Now after a couple of years, I see that people who were hired before or after me on a lower package have somewhat similar package as me cause of the pay brackets despite me performing better. Should I talk to my manager explaining my predicament? Or should I simply search for another job?
Can anyone provide TC range/insights for an MD seat at Blackrock for the institutional family office business? Either SF or NYC?

We need more teachers down here in AZ! If you're in the area, or moving to the area, or even thinking about moving to the area (😅) feel free to check some of these out and apply. I would recommend going through the schools website, but there are multiple schools hiring! Cannot provide referrals, can provide recommendations for a good place to get a drink to celebrate your new job.
I am an ETL developer who got a chance to work on spark recently within my organization. Initially struggled and now got comfortable with scala spark in my project. I am looking to change job in data engineering but most JDs I see are asking for pyspark and not scala spark, only few are asking scala or Java or python.
Should I really learn python and pyspark as well to be able to find more opportunities? Or should I only apply for scala based roles?
Also I heard from one of the friend
How long do Wipro take to give offer letter? And how many level interviews do they take for data engineer role?

My wife and I each have our 401ks through Vanguard. What fund should we allocate them to? And why? It seems like the wisdom is to just allocate 100% to the 50, 55 or 60 fund.
I booked profits from the stock markets around Christmas 2020 thinking that there will be correction which will let me re-enter positions. Now I am FOMOing while sitting on a pile of cash for thr last 2 months. Please suggest the best way forward? Wary of mistiming market moves but also don't want inflation to eat away assets.
Lately I’ve been looking into buying a house. I’m 22 and would only be able to afford a 40k down payment. I found a house near my parents that is 400k.. is it four bedrooms and I would be able to have renters in 3 of the rooms (which I would estimate would cover 2,000 of the 2,400 monthly payment). This being said - my knowledge is limited. I would appreciate any advice and perspective on this! ❤️

TurboTax vs freetaxusa. Which is worth? I always did TT and paid close to 250 to them after all manual work. I don't think it's worth as any CPA would charge same. Thinking of switching to freetaxusa this year. Have short term cap gains and mortgage. Any recommendations?
Wife and I were thinking of getting a 2 seater sports car (Corvette, F-Type, Cayman, or Supra), we want to wait at least 5 years before having kids and were thinking this is a perfect time to get one. Although it is probably the dumbest financial decision, we would rather enjoy a sports car young than in retirement. Wondering if I should finally pull the trigger and get one?
Trying to get more crypto exposure in my retirement accounts, but don’t believe in individual coins just like I don’t buy individual stocks. Any advice on any Crypto ETFs to buy? My accounts are in Fidelity and Vanguard if that helps
Don’t have a lot of money 💰, made some very bad choices (put all my money into stock market) and ended up with a $60k personal loan. I make $180k a year (gross base pay). Have $25k in savings but don’t want to pay debt because recession is looming around the corner. Tips please? Any of you came out stronger? How do I go about this?
Transferred some stock in kind from one brokerage to another but noticed that each transferred stock appears to be bought at the current price on the day of the transfer (eg. if avg price of my TSLA stock was $500 before transferring now it’s showing $620). Now I’m freaking out because it seems like as a result I’ve erased all my historical gains on the stocks that I had bought at a much lower price years ago? Am I missing something or did I just lose all my unrealized gains by transferring?
Thoughts on investing retirement accounts in a highly leveraged index fund? Would like to be more aggressive than a standard S&P 500 index fund but don’t want to pick out individual stocks. Good or bad idea?

Not after all the recent hacks. Better off using the coinbase debit for 4% back on everything, especially rent.
Most rent situations are Bilt or nothing. It’s sort of rare to find a building that takes other cards at all, and the ones that do will definitely have much higher fees than Bilt.
Not to mention coinbase gets you on conversion fees and taxes.
