Looking for advice. I have maxed my roth IRA and will max roth 401k this year. No debt or major expenses. I have a lot (150k) sitting in cash. I’m all about that work from home life. However it is insulting and unprofessional when a colleague who is in the office blows off a scheduled meeting with you when you are virtual as they bumped into another colleague in the office. Anyone else noticing issues like this now that we are in this hybrid mode. How do you address it?

As I sit here and lesson plan on my day off, I'm wondering how important planning is- especially for us veteran teachers. I mean, I sometimes spend hours on one and then throw it out or change it anyway.


Question. My younger brother is applying to a Top 5 business school. They contacted him a few days ago to provide his full work history (he had submitted a one pager with only his last two jobs) because they were evaluating his application. Since I am in consulting, he asked me if that was a good sign because he hasn’t received a rejection. I told him that not at all. That it was SOP and it’s been a few days. But I am older and disconnected from the college app world. I figured I’d ask here


Anyone take courses/get a degree from Harvard Extension School? Experience? Was it worth it? Are you also able to build a network? Realize it’s not like an MBA, but that doesn’t fit my life now .
