I’m on my parents insurance so no HSA for right now, I also have a federal student loan at 8k (4.5%) starting in October. Should I switch from maxing out 401k to maxing out back door Roth IRA? Started investing senior year of high school in 2017 and put more and more money in each year. I’m still up but it’s a minuscule 11%. have about 23.5k and invested 21k. At my peak in nov 2021 I was at 46.5k, pain. During early mid and late 2021 I made a lot of bad call options investments. 2022 I stopped but have still lost a bit on options. Cont.
