I think I need anxiety meds or prescrip sleeping pills. On a huge project in addition to normal billable expectations, and the stress is really getting to me. I’m not able to fall asleep, or have super low quality sleep. Do I make an appointment with a GP or a psychiatrist? I’m even having anxiety about asking for anxiety meds bc I’m worried I will seem like I’m just looking for drugs & don’t really need them. I need help navigating this.

How much do Forensic Accountant Expert Witnesses make? Is this a lucrative industry or are salaries on par with other accounting roles and levels? I heard through the grapevine that these guys can make bukos of cash but I can't find much online other than hearsay. I know in the DC area they can make upward of 160K or more with a security clearance in non-testifying roles. I heard that directly from a recruiter myself. What do you guys know about the industry? So I forgot to calendar some new dates for a property sale at work. Now my boss had to work on Friday and today to fix my mistake. Not lots of work but just like I wanted her to give final approval before I sent out some required notices. I’m a 6th year and feel like such a failure. Like who forgets to calendar stuff?!?! Me. That’s who. I just found out I’m pregnant and I’ve been so ill with morning sickness and that is absolutely why I messed up at work. Any tips on how I get over this?

Just have to vent. My husband forgot to take off work for one of my best friend's wedding. I gave him the date when he asked for it back in June. And now a week before the wedding, he tells me he forgot & it's too late to change/get the day off. I find it not only disrespectful to my friend but also to me. On top of that, I'm also going to be 36 wks pregnant alone at the wedding.
