If given a second chance, would you change your gender or remain same?

Looking for some advice on a very 'millenial' problem. Been working in advertisingry for 3 years, first it was my big dream - now it's getting more frustrating every day. I've become more aware (feminist/socially) in the past months and wish I could do more for other women/diversity in communication. Anyone have advice? I work in an old agency where I'm often mocked for my 'beliefs', and i don't know of a relevant organisation here (Europe).

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why teachers refer to the students as "friends"?

Do you all put your race and gender on job applications, or omit that info? In this day and age I don’t know if it hurts, helps, or doesn’t matter.

So I am seeing this guy, and whenever we go out for dinner we split the bill 50/50. Like he doesn't even offer to pay. But when we go out for drinks after dinner he pays. He's currently doing his MBA so loans and told me that money was always tight when he was a kid so I get it, but sometimes it's hard not to compare to my ex who used to pay for everything when we went out. But then again he had a range of other issues hence the ex... please offer some respectful thoughts to help me 😊

As I get into my 30s, I’ve noticed recruiters focusing more on maternity leave than anything else when I ask about benefits. I know that benefit is important to a lot of women, but as a child free person it kind of makes me uncomfortable that they are just almost assuming I want a baby because of my gender. Maybe just mention it instead of emphasizing it? It also makes me assume that companies might discriminate against me in the job process (which isn’t cool for anyone) over a man.

That moment when you’re hearing a presentation on the theme of Cannes being about diversity & inclusion and you look around realizing the 4 presenters are all WHITE DUDES in their 40s. SMH.

How do I deal with the feeling of hating the overall human experience. I am a 23 year old male and have had an absolutely blessed life (gender for context not supporting evidence). But every day, I feel I am going through the motions and ‘numb’ in a sense. I also dread weekends as I use work as an escape, and there is nothing I can do to escape myself in weekends. I have struggled with depression since I hit puberty (~a decade of depression) and have wished for it to get better or to just end.

Is it unreasonable to ask someone from PT timezone to follow ET hours for 1 month during critical phase of the project? To be specific.. starting 9AM ET. Work day typically gets over at 6p ET or sooner sometimes, and this person makes it such a big deal and makes it sound like they are doing team a favor.
