Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.

Yes. State approval might not matter if the organization goes by what’s legal federally. I had a friend go client side and his company has a zero tolerance policy towards marijuana even though it’s legal in the state he resides. They should be upfront about it though
Just to add two more things: they drug tested him as a part of the job acceptance process (verbal agreement pending successful drug test results) and the company reserves the right to randomly drug test.
Oh yes. Private companies can do whatever they want, if the characteristic isn't a protected class, like gender. They have no obligation to allow their employees to use drugs even if that employees home state allows it.

Yes. Ideally try to get medical authorization but that is not still a legal defense. Most folks don’t really drug test but be prepared.
