I’m 10+ yrs into my career, but I made an odd for me, accidental pivot into local government/real estate about a year and a half ago, and I’m looking around. Hi fishes, I completed 1 year at Capgemini(fresher). Worked on one project for 5 months without billable from client. Now they released me from that project and soon i will get another project at my preferable location. My concern is from the joining date to till date (1 year passed) I didn't get any billing as I worked only 5 months on a project, so is it like my 2 yrs bond aggreement is not started? I heard from someone that once you get billable then only your 2 year bond starts. Pls tell me.

I just got offered a job with a firm that has billable hour requirements. I’ve never had had billable hours. Is is appropriate to ask what the billable requirements are? I have a good idea from someone I know who works in a different department but want to confirm what they told me. They also provided vacation time of 3-5 weeks. I’m assuming that’s work weeks, but is that appropriate to ask for clarification? I don’t want them to think that’s all I care about, but these are important to me.
