I want to travel to Japan within the next three years- gotta save up money to make a trip worth it. But I also want to get a tattoo or two. Is it worth it to hold off on getting tattoos until I’ve been to Japan because I want to experience an onsen/bath house and generally just not feel inhibited in exploring? Or is that worry about being limited as a tourist in Japan if I have tattoos an unfounded one?

Good evening all. I’m joining AAI later this month and I need to check how much travel is happening. I was told a certain amount is expected during interviews, but how much is the practice actually traveling? Fully aware it’s client/project dependent, so don’t feel the need to reiterate that :). TIA.

Hi there! I’m an MBA graduate with well rounded experience. I’m interested and want to start a career in Strategy consulting but I’m worried about travel. I wouldn’t mind traveling once a month or every other month but I can’t travel every week. I have two gals - 6 and 8. Does strategy consulting require 80% travel like it says in some job description or will there be flexibility?

Day 2 of being back in the office after a 3 month FMLA. My panic attacks and anxiety are just as worse as it was. I thought the 3 month time gave me perspective and I recovered. But feels like some sort PTSD. Day 1 - was already overloaded with tasks, really early morning client calls. I feel so helpless and feeling so overwhelmed, heart has been racing, can’t stop thinking that I am going to fail, but cant tell it out loud. I don’t want to go back to the miserable me, depressed and burntout.

I gave a salary range to a couple recruiters for digital consulting positions and am not sure if it was relatively close to market value or not. Would you think this (admittedly wide) range is high, low, or reasonable? Any advice is appreciated!

Some info:
- Both roles are for boutique digital consulting firms in Chicago
- Consultant 1 positions requiring 3-5 years experience
- My range: $100k-$120k base
- I have 4 yrs experience, 2 of which in a BA/Product owner role (non b4 accounting firm)
