If I get a new job in New York but only move in august, would I be able to avoid state income tax for all of 2021 income given I spent over 6 months in Florida ? Have lived in Florida for all of my career thus far.

SCA1 Not true. You pay taxes where you work OP. You’d owe NY taxes for the duration of being in NY (non-resident in this case). If you got a job in NY and stayed in FL the whole year then you’d be fine not paying any state taxes

This is a dumb question but what exactly is the utilization formula? Are there any other metrics I need to be aware of? Are there goals/standards attached to these?

TOOL. A fitting name for a company that thinks $35K is an acceptable salary (& in LA!) for an Executive Assistant / Nanny hybrid w/ mid-to-senior level film & TV production exp. & available 24/7! 🙄😡

We are moving to a big city, and my husband really wants us to choose a housing option that does not have a bathtub. It’s a fantastic house, but that’s kind of a big negative for me since we have a baby and a toddler. Anyone have ideas for ways to “create” a bathtub or something to buy that’s big enough for a toddler bath? Toddler loves his current baths in a normal size tub.

We are currently building the plan for the hybrid model we will follow mid October. (No specific date yet.) We have committed to an A/B model with groups attending MT and Th/F in person, working remotely the other three days. If you have an AB model do you deliver the same content to your students each day, regardless of them being remote or in person? Or is the lesson cycle one that begins on the first day you teach in person for each group? This second model seems complicated.
