Have about 50K in cash in savings. Never invested (besides 401K). Need help with what stocks to invest in, should I go in now at the dip?? How much should I put in 😬 looking for guidance
What are H1Bs who don’t know how long they will stay in the US doing with their $$?
I have a 401K (up to company match), HSA, HYSA and some ETFs/Stocks. Wondering how much of my NW I should put into the market.
What brokerage does your firm use for your 401K? Please list firm and brokerage, plus how good the options are.
I am currently earning around 72K base and putting in 25% to my Roth 401K. Got a new job with 110K base and if I put in 25% every month, I will hit the max within a few months. How can I make sure that I do not hit the max before end of year so that I can take full advantage of employer match?
My goal is to retire as early as possible and live on passive income / investment returns to sustain an upper middle class lifestyle (maybe with 2 kids). Like public schools in decent suburbs, nothing crazy
Anyone achieve something like this? What’s your age, net worth, and passive income strategy?
Help! How do I start learning about investing? I grew up financially insecure and got into consulting at 31 (did a PhD before that), I now make good money (220+) but l’m terrified of investing and keep too much cash (aside from my 401k that I’ve been maxing out)
I have my 401k with fidelity. Can I change the allocation to snowflake computing once it IPOs?
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice.
I’m 43yo and make 185k/year.
I save around 14% in my 401k.
I have 75k saved.
Is it too late for me? My target was $2 millions for retirement. Is that realistic? Is that something that can be achieved? What would you do in my place?
Does bloom work with pwc’s 401k?
Are there any planning tools consolidated I can read and work back from to figure out savings rate, investment strategy etc? I get anxoius about this topic because I want to retire early but I struggle with the plan.
I contribute to 401k, HSA, and Roth IRA, and have enough expenses saved up in savings... should i be investing in stocks/funds with the rest of cash i have left every month?
401K and stock portfolio is in the red.
Yesterday, the stock market imploded like an already peeved person who was told to “calm down.” The Dow posted its biggest one-day drop since 2020, and just eight companies in the S&P 500 closed higher. The dramatic sell-off was sparked by Target’s earnings, which showed that soaring costs are putting the squeeze on margins (it didn’t help that Walmart said the same thing the day before). Target’s stock suffered its worst drop since 1987.
When does Deloitte contribute their 401k match to Vanguard? I’ve heard sometime after year-end.
My former company is being acquired and is making me rollover my Roth 401K to my new company’s 401K or to an IRA. Any advice?
Hi all - I’m 23 and am not sure the best way to handle IRA/401K accounts. My parents didn’t really explain and I never learned about it in school so I’m trying to do self research but it’s fairly confusing. Would I be better off doing a Roth 401K or Roth IRA? What’s the difference? Stats: salary 65k, current savings $15k current roth 401k 8k and current investments 40k. no debt, credit card paid in full each month
Is this reasonable or am I missing something?
I started maxing my 401k from year 1 and I hope to have $5 million or more by the time I retire around 60. Wouldn’t it make sense to put all of my yearly $19,500 401k contribution to ROTH 401k instead of traditional 401k?
My reasoning is that I would pay 35% tax now and my remaining 65% would grow tax-free in ROTH 401k…. versus traditional 401k where I deposit 100% but every distribution will be taxed 35% assuming I make a lot in retirement.
Hi all, does Amazon negotiate in increasing the base pay? Bcz i feel the sign-in bonus is high for 1sy year and for 2nd year it has been reduced.. so just wanted to check if i can get the sign in bonus rescued and increase the base pay for L5 position

KPMG interview timeline?
I have to be honest that I'm not really feeling this career. I've been doing this for 2 years. What are the most logical jumps I can make? Have you ever heard of going into creative work from media?
