hey folks, I am going to join Oracle ossi in Hyderabad location. I have never been to Hyderabad, and will be relocating. Please guide on what would be good areas to look for rent. Also, what would be rent like for 2/3 bhk. Ideally my budget for rent would be <25k. Initially I will be going but in future my family will join me once I am settled. Any points to note or any other gotcha to keep in mind ? Please suggest.

I would say leave after a year just so you get a year of professional experience under your belt and then start looking. No need to stay until you’re a senior if your not into it.
I agree with what you said K2, do you know how one would include those skills into their resume? If you have any examples
It got a LOT better for me after a year. Hang in there!
Thanks, you too!

I got out of risk after 2.5 years. Determine what exactly you're looking for in terms of roles and think about what it will take to get there. If it's a transfer within your firm, then you're pretty much stuck there for 2 years while networking hard. If it's external, you may need a year just to show you know how to be a professional.
Most people hate risk. The real question is if you're willing to do something about it.
Thanks P3! Feel free to message me if you want more details. It's not an easy switch at all, so I'm happy to help where I can.
I felt the same way when I started. I did interview here and there around my 6 month mark, a lot of places asked why I was leaving so soon (understandable). So stay like 1-1.5 years, closer to 2. If they ask why you’re leaving, say you’re not being challenged or something etc. 1 year min work experience at a place looks way better than less than a year
Why?
I would apply for job now - no harm in looking/trying. If you get an offer in something you like, I would take it!
Try to give it a year at least (quick exits don't look good on a resume) and then move if you really don't like the work.
Give it a year, unless something amazing comes across with good career growth. Don’t just leave to go somewhere random because you hate your current role.
Saaaaame. 😅
