Former procrastinators—how did you stop putting off work? Currently a first year doing M&A at a V10 shop. Coasted through undergraduate and law school with minimal effort but it looks like things have finally caught up with me and I’m struggling to tread water. Weirdly enough, I’m much better off when things are on fire (one of the reasons I picked M&A) but I can’t get myself to work unless I have a deadline looming over my head (or have blown past one).
