If I have one year left (6th year) on my H1 with an approved I-140, what are my options in term of changing job? Is it pretty much too late to find other options now? I’m ROW so my H1 can only be extended one year at a time. I know I should stay put and wait it out but I’m near my limit.

I am from a tier 1 college and yet able to land only a couple of interviews and they keep me on stand by(2 companies so far). They are prefering folks with experience even for APM positions. What is the best way to bag a APM role with just one year work ex in pperations role. Will an internship help?
