Hello fishes. Need your suggestions. I have worked at Accenture for 2 yrs as a software developer and due to interest in core side, took training in Rv-Vlsi and placed in capgemini as PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER . And it's been 9 months, I didn't get any project. I am much frustrated as I am wasting my imp time. This may be firm-dependent, but generally speaking, travel to a client is non-billable. If you’re working on the plane, I suppose you can argue that you were doing billable work.
Depends on how long the flight is. Also, chargeable to the project vs chargeable to the client are two different things. Go read the policy.
Doesn't really matter if the client pays for travel or not; you are losing a day off
Our teams have always been instructed to bill 8 hours M-F. I have never heard of an exception and I know of people who had to submit PPAs after working 30+ hours over the weekend and charging the time. Definitely expense food/per diem.
