If I interviewed a first round on Thursday last week and still have not gotten a call, should i not be expecting a final round?

Currently have an offer, but not my top choice. I want to keep applying and see what other options open up but I'm worried I'm taking to big of a risk by rejecting it. Any thoughts on entry level associate job market? Background: I'm c/o '21, finishing up trial court clerkship, looking in NY metro area, and avoiding ID.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

Feel like I was lied to when interviewing at my current agency. I was very honest how important work life balance is to me due to health issues. I’m only two months in & working 55-60 hours a week, having to sign it at 10pm for reports. Every account seems to be like this. How much of a red flag is it if I already start looking for new jobs? I really wanted to make it work, but so can’t do this. I’m in Pharma PR, fwiw.

Is Director level within A&M equivalent to SM1/2 at Big4? Also, I have been told by A&M recruiter that I need to meet 2 more MDs as part of the interview process and I have already met 3 Senior Directors. Any idea what can I expect in my final two interviews and will there be any more rounds?

I’ve been thinking of making a switch from audit to TAS. I’m currently a S1 (2 busy seasons experience), and rated as a top performer at my firm. I’m contacted by Kroll, but recruiters there told me that since I haven’t got any TAS experience, I should be applying for their Analyst role instead of Senior Associate. Honestly, I want to switch to TAS but not that desperate to leave my firm. Anyway, I just wonder if you guys have the same situation and usually how long it takes to get promoted?

Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

Anyone gone through US naturalization process after green card? I have the Green Card but I travel a lot for international assignments outside of the US. Then during Covid, I didn’t stay much in the States. So the question is - On the form how will you justify the time spend in the States and how can we get around that? How does PERMs work for non-technical, common roles? Like I know there’s a lot or people who’d want to work for big 4 or tech firms (ex. Tech firm senior auditor roles, there’s probably a lot of applicants with similar backgrounds) - in this case I find it hard to believe that they won’t find a qualified applicant since those roles are so popular / experience standard is not as rigorous.. is it common for PERMs to fail?

Had my BCG final interview. For the 1st interview the fit portion went well, but nerves got the best of me while doing the Case portion. Blanked out on the math portion and needed guidance. MBB coffee chats during on campus recruiting - any advice on how to prepare? I heard the coffee chats will be in groups with 2-4 students in each group

MBB em level role vs. director level tech (non FAANG) exit? Coming from b4, roughly 10 yoe. I know it’s probably a personal preference thing but hoping to get opinions here. Tech role is $190k base plus a 30% target bonus. MBB role i got a verbal offer without a comp figure yet but my understanding is it’s around there, maybe 10-20% higher (or maybe much higher depending on bonus).

Didn’t fully expect to get the MBB offer honestly, but both beat my 180/198 b4 comp. Now i’m torn.

Got an offer to join a startup, originally meant to take on the Chief of Staff role, but unfortunately title has been given away to someone else. I’m still interested in joining the company though, and have license to come up with my own title. Any title suggestions? (Won’t be a managerial role)

Do you think I’ll be dinged by the partners because I am not elite enough? Should I ask the recruiter to down level to BA position to increase my chances?
