If i revived an offer from a company and I accepted but have not started but am given another higher offer later from another company with a higher amount is it bad to back out and take the higher offer? I don’t want to burn bridges and am stressing about the decision. Thanks.

Is anyone familiar with average or competitive salaries for business planning and analysis? I’m the sole manager/employee of my function for a midsize IT firm in thE OC of SoCal. I wear many hats outside my direct duties and help keep our entire Business Unit/Commercial Side running smoothly (about 15 of us total). I feel severely underpaid but have a hard time finding comparable positions, thus salaries as well. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Are recruiters worth more than L&D specialists? We have a new recuiter that transferred in from another dept. & is already making more than me and has a higher comp range. We have same tenure & they have NO prev. recuiting experience. I should also add I have been helping cover recuiting in interim. I also help cover HR tasks, have my SHRM, 5 years of HR exp., and 2 degrees. Is the "value" for recruiters more than L&D? I feel a little taken advantage of, but want to know if I'm off base here.
