You want to leave once the lease is up? That's your prerogative. It they want to stay in the apartment and renew the lease for another year, they're welcome to do that. If they want to make sure they have a 4th person responsible for splitting the rent, well then they better gosh darn try and find someone to fill that spot. Not your responsibility.
Are you trying to leave before the lease is up? Different story.
And make sure your landlord knows you are leaving so they have your roommates and the new tenant sign a new lease so your name is completely off of it. You don’t want something happening after you leave and have your name attached to the unit, making you legally responsible while the new roommate is not.

I’ve been though this in the past. Generally the procedure when you get your lease renewal is to contact your property management company, tell them you are leaving and that you would like your name removed from the lease.
In terms of finding a new roommate, I would discus that with the current roommates. It’s a nice gesture to help them fill the opening in the apartment by posting the room, but you all should make that decision together.
