Op you gonna leave me hanging like that? Please give props

Where’s your final arrival airport? But very unlikely. My nan flew to Boston from Vietnam before vaccine is distributed and she was required covid test but right now, I doubt that.

like

Yes you do. My gf was there this past weekend and had to get a Rapid antigen test to get back to US via flight. Almost all hotels have testing on site. Negative test is required to enter US

like

Did she see rapid test sites in the airport itself?

Yes you do, they will not let you board your plane in Mexico without proof of a negative test, regardless of your vaccination status. Many resorts and hotels are offering free on-site testing so maybe look into whether yours has that or if you need to make alternate arrangements.

My gf just went a month ago and she didn’t need one going out but had to get one in the airport before she came back

like

I’m going next week and it says I don’t

How are you traveling? If flying check your airline requirements

I just got back and although I did not need a vaccine or covid test enter the country I needed proof of a negative covid test to re-enter the United States

Pretty sure you do if flying back into the country. Last time we drove there, we didn’t need a test.

I’m flying, I will have vaccination card on my person. I’m flying out of cancun and into EWR. Most links I’ve found is not delineating between vaccinated or not. So Im thinking I probably do.

D5, did you get tested at the airport or hotel

I returned to the usa from mexico 2 weeks ago, and yes, I needed a negative test result to return. Get the test taken 48-72 hours in advance just in case there's any snafu with results or your personal logistics. Cancun should have good infrastructure in place for testing for american tourists.

There are multiple places that offer them in Tulum. Source: already found the place in Tulum where I’m getting mine before returning

For any international travel, I’d just recommend being safer and getting a negative test (especially if it’s free or covered by insurance).

Didn't have to when I drove back to the U.S.

CDC website specifically calls out test is required for all international air travel

Yes, you need a Covid-19 test.

I came back from Ecuador a couple weeks ago had to get a negative COVID test within 72 hours and I have been vaccinated since April…so doesn’t matter what your vax status is right now

By now, nearly every CEO of a major company has made some public statement or proclamation of their commitment to racial equality, diversity, and such matters. What percent of those do you believe truly comes from the heart and a bias for both personal and corporate action, versus a necessary public relations response with little personal ownership? My view: about 30%. That is still a great number, because it’s far higher than zero.
