Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE
Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.
Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

Sounds like they need an ATS that parses the resume. 😭🤣
I have observed this issue on more company career websites than just these two. Or when it attempts to parse it, the information captured has to be then reformatted so it makes sense and looks clean to the person who will review the application.
They want the fields filled out for prescreening then a full resume if the recruiter wants to look at it.
@Visa1: He’s probably talking about the Talent Acquisition teams and the tight job market in general. Having a employee favored market means the hiring teams don’t want to lose candidates unwilling to go through extra work so they’re considering reducing redundancy in the application process.
We have been asking that for years. Why do we have to fill out the same paperwork for the information that we just uploaded.
The application in general is necessary because it’s a contract between the applicant and the potential employer. The resume is not, hence why the application is necessary but there should be a smoother process for the applicant.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves of all time.
Yea it’s pretty annoying I agree
THIS IS MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE. But I think it's for ATS purposes to help filter certain keywords
I have yet to see a good ATS...
Because you will otherwise not be considered for the job unless there are fewer applicants etc.
