Hi 🐠 , I’ve got experience in agency account management and gone client side as a marketing manager. Which departments/roles would my experience most seamlessly transition into at a FAANG?
A client was wearing this today. Really looked sharp. Now I think I want it. What do you all think of this Yachtmaster?

I am a Technical Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master with cloud computing and migration experience. I am currently looking for referral primarily in Atlanta, GA but will also consider remote elsewhere.
Question: ID, auto accident case, uncooperative client. I have tried multiple phone calls, texts, letters, emails, and sent an investigator out. I can’t get the client to respond / cooperate. I have discovery due and his depo coming up. What else can I do to try to reach him?
I’m considering a position as an account director at a large agency coming from a media director role at another. (I’ve been client facing for years) are there any hard and fast rules of client management that typically media people wouldn’t deal with DTD? Note: this is more of strategist role and they were looking for heavy media experience but this position is unique in that it will also serve as the liaison between the analytics, creative, and media agencies.
I am trying for onsite in my current project but it seems like no one is taking it seriously, there is no chance of that happening anytime soon in this project. Should I switch my company?
Do companies hire employee with onsite opportunities or do they only send old folks onsite??
I am 7 years experienced in project management. I have a job id which suits my skill set, can anyone refer me?
How do you provide feedback on personal hygiene? Our team member does not wear deodorant, and I want to help him out, especially if he plans on having more of a client-facing role in the long-term.
I have been working with Cognizant for over 2 years now. The client that I’ve been working with recently asked me to apply for an internal position with them. I did so, however, now the client is saying that they are not planning to disclose this information to Cognizant and that I shouldn’t too.
I am sceptical about this situation. Can I be in trouble for joining the client’s company?

If you are hiring a Senior Art Director and gave them a “product launch” for a interview project, would you rather them focus on execution (design, mockups), or more emphasis on planning and concepting?
So many tech people working as contractor in NIQ. Their mentality and behaviour with NIQ employees are service based micromanagement mindset and not willing to share the KT appropriately and also not responding properly.
Previously I have worked in service based org, there also company pushing us to not help their client employees.

Any suggestions of getting your foot in the door at the nba/wnba? Or really anything in sports? I’m a former collegiate athlete, with 2 years of consulting background looking to make a change in my career.
So somehow (I have no idea how) I’m graduating this semester in about 3 years with a degree in Finance.
I’m on an F-1 Visa so I couldn’t even legally get an internship my first year, also Covid started 3 weeks after I began my undergrad. I know thousands went through the same and worse so I pushed myself hard and improved my resume as much as I can.
Now I’m approaching my graduation in December and still no FT role (I received one but got ghosted).
What would you do if you’re in my shoes?

Why is animation criminally overlooked by execs? The absolute gems prove there's an audience and money to be made, yet they get tossed aside. Also, I'm tired of celebrity casts who put in minimal effort to such a beloved medium.
Why did so few men speak up about #MeToo? I'm sure many of them went through some of the things women talked about for the purposes of advancing their careers, yet we heard little to none of them speaking up.
Has anyone successfully changed careers after working on set in film/TV production for an extended period of time? If you did, do you regret leaving “set life” at all? Any pros/cons you wish to share about leaving the film industry?

Turns out that Ellen DeGeneres' new show has been canceled by Warner. I didn't even know she had a new show, huh.
What’s the craziest headline you’ve read recently? Mine is “Julia Roberts Reveals Martin Luther King Jr. Paid The Hospital Bill For Her Birth”. That’s a sentence I never could’ve put together myself lol
I’m in a situation where a client has progressively asked me to do more and more small tasks that aren’t part of my job description. At first I agreed because it was tiny requests that wouldn’t take a few minutes at most but now there’s so much to do I feel like I’m being taken advantage of. How can I assert myself?
I shot a quick interview short for school but the audio is awful. How can I salvage it? Edit out the talking parts and just do a narration-style voice over maybe?
I’ve applied to a job I’m qualified for, description is DMV or remote. I’m not in the area but have WFH experience so I messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn who asked for my resume. After sending my resume they say the job has changed to DMV only. I check the job posting on their site and it still says DMV or remote.
I guess I’ll never know…but was that a rejection? 🥲
Also, in general, very annoying to find out after sending resume/reaching out that a job will not be fully remote.

Video game writing has a lot of appeal but I don't know the best way to build a portfolio. Are writing samples enough, or do I need to connect with a dev and work on a project?
How come in TV shows there are different salaries for different actors? And it's even worse when you bring numbers in. Per episode, there have been cases where some people make twice as much as others.
Are video producers just destined to be constantly lowballed? I’m a freelance editor and producer and I feel like my clients grossly underestimate the time and effort it takes to deliver a final product.
How do I pitch a script to a big network? I've known of people who've had their stuff used without permission before, essentially killing their chances at a career and I wouldn't want that to happen to me.

What goes behind the cancellation of a tv show? I know low ratings may be one, but I am under the impression that really popular shows have suffered this fate as well.

Who is this ominous CEO?!?! His vision or another’s…choice is urs… Freedom is a capital-rich privilege! However… message me if you’d like, as depending on your goal or film genre, I might have one that you could make first that’ll provide you the aforementioned capital to make yours with!… 😉
A production company can help guide you through the process, and ensure that your vision for the film is realized. However, it is important to remember that the production company will have its own vision for the film, and you may need to compromise on some aspects of your project. Producing a movie can be a very costly and time-consuming process, so consider it
You should always be open to changes in the film industry, and even more so if that person will provide financial support. I think you have been lucky I have been trying to get my script approved for more than 2 years, and I think it is time to change it a little to make it more attractive.
Be careful with the snake pit, sometimes it looks like we won the lottery but someone else's vision in the development of a movie can create obstacles in way that we are not prepared for, first see what your CEO wants before accepting a merger.
That's where the problem will set in. Partnering with a production company will help you in so many aspects of film making including advertising or marketing the film. However, you have to compromise. It's either you lose full control and originality of your work, you get half of the control but with modifications.
There are pros and cons to this. Partnering with a production company wil help make your visions come into fruition and guide you into which direction would be best for the final outcome. On the other hand, you're gonna have to compromise for the most part of the productioon process. You're gonna have to take their ideas into consideration before yoou can make a decision.
I think you can talk and set your own terms and conditions. Make sure everything is written. You need to be careful especially if you are working in this industry.
It's better to partner up and get funding that way. It is hard to produce your own movie with a limited budget. If you want your movie to look good you have to give up some control to others.
