Who is this ominous CEO?!?! His vision or another’s…choice is urs… Freedom is a capital-rich privilege! However… message me if you’d like, as depending on your goal or film genre, I might have one that you could make first that’ll provide you the aforementioned capital to make yours with!… 😉
A production company can help guide you through the process, and ensure that your vision for the film is realized. However, it is important to remember that the production company will have its own vision for the film, and you may need to compromise on some aspects of your project. Producing a movie can be a very costly and time-consuming process, so consider it
You should always be open to changes in the film industry, and even more so if that person will provide financial support. I think you have been lucky I have been trying to get my script approved for more than 2 years, and I think it is time to change it a little to make it more attractive.
Be careful with the snake pit, sometimes it looks like we won the lottery but someone else's vision in the development of a movie can create obstacles in way that we are not prepared for, first see what your CEO wants before accepting a merger.
That's where the problem will set in. Partnering with a production company will help you in so many aspects of film making including advertising or marketing the film. However, you have to compromise. It's either you lose full control and originality of your work, you get half of the control but with modifications.
There are pros and cons to this. Partnering with a production company wil help make your visions come into fruition and guide you into which direction would be best for the final outcome. On the other hand, you're gonna have to compromise for the most part of the productioon process. You're gonna have to take their ideas into consideration before yoou can make a decision.
I think you can talk and set your own terms and conditions. Make sure everything is written. You need to be careful especially if you are working in this industry.
It's better to partner up and get funding that way. It is hard to produce your own movie with a limited budget. If you want your movie to look good you have to give up some control to others.
