If I wanted to spend 2000-2500 for a nice watch what should I buy?

Your best bet here will be used models - most of the new pieces between $1500-3000 are just not the greatest value propositions. I’d look at the ones below, which should mostly be available for under $3k, but I’d also consider bumping up your budget to the $4-6k range.

Rolex DateJust 1601 (used)
Omega Speedmaster Professional (used)
Tudor North Flag (maybe new?)
Grand Seiko (misc models)
Nomos Orion (new)
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra (used)

You can snag a used Omega Seamaster from the Brosnan movies for $1500-$2000. Make sure to get one that’s recently serviced or expect to tack on another $6-700 for service soon after.
Don’t get the quartz one though

That is an amazing choice!
I have a couple 2531.80 (tritiums and luminovas) and absolutely love them

For my preferences, they are the best cost-benefit diver out there. Solid and gorgeous watch.

Used IWC Pilot‘s Watch. Mark XVI should be the easiest to get.

If you want new: Tudor Black Bay 36/41 with a solid ETA movement

Need more information. Dress watch? Sports watch? Automatic? Quartz? Hand wind? Chronograph? How large?

I've been reading Millionaire Next Door and am at the part where he says that most people will never become wealthy if their spouse is not frugal/more frugal than you are.

My current partner has the attitude that she does not care about money, and she makes it to spend it. So she's not frugal at all. But I very much am. I try to save and invest as much as I can.

Is her spending habits going to somehow reflect on my wealth over time? Do you guys believe this is a bad thing?

Hello,

Need advice from those who left SAP recently or leaving soon.

Did you sell all your SAP shares. Its sad that the value is at multi-year low and we are made to sell at a loss :(... Is there any cheaper option to keep it for some more years in our personal account. Did any of you got it transferred at any Indian brokerage firm? Please do let me know.

Thanks

Rubber B question: someone help me decide please!

Should I go with the clasp or buckle version? I’m leaning clasp cuz it looks better and fun to slip on. But I also want to switch between straps often so I’m wondering how much more annoying is dealing with the clasp? Also, I like how the buckle is adjustable size and wouldn’t scratch my original bracelet clasp.

This would be for 16710 Coke GMT. Bonus question, where to buy a fake Pepsi bezel insert? Want a cheap ish decent one

Thanks!
