Hi all , need a suggestion. I am currently getting an offer of 40 lpa in India with one of the FAANG companies . The role is not in a fancy team and is okayish.

My company has promised me a transfer to KL Malaysia with a salary of 2,40,000 MYR (~43 lpa) but since I am in consulting , my options would remain open in terms of exit and this can open up South East Asia market for me.

I am confused as to which direction to take. Please let me know your pov in terms of opportunities in SEA, salary

I work as what’s internally called a product specialist. more of a customer success role where we are highly trained in the product itself to serve our customers and work closely with the PM/Engineering teams to advocate for enhancements/escalate technical issues.
I’m hoping to one day be able to pivot to product management work. While I have a high amount of customer facing experience, I do not have as much technical/design experience. Any advice on what to do to gain the necessary experience?

My official role name is Product Owner but I don’t think my organisation understands how PO roles are different from PM roles.
I do the same things as a PM so i want to put PM as the role name in my linkedin and resume.

I have about $60k in a savings account. I plan to keep $20k in savings for an emergency fund but not sure what investments I should put the remaining $40k in as well as future monthly investments. Have a few upcoming practice interviews with McK people - and have done a fair amount of case prep but still nervous and wanting to impress (especially since they’re all EM+). I think overall I’m better at candidate led due to mainly practicing those, and I understand the actual fundamentals don’t change style to style, but outside of repping McK cases is there anything anyone found particularly useful when practicing those types of cases that they might recommend to me?
