The first year I made over 100,000 United States dollars in one year, I was 22
With the exception of one year when I did a startup that failed, I have made over 100,000 United States dollars per year every year of my adult life since I was 22
Prior to that, it took me 2 years of professional software engineering to get up to the point where I made a six figure salary.
Started at 45k in 2004, took 8 years. Great Recession killed any hopes of raises for about 2 years.
Started at $28K - it took 9 years to hit $100K.

1.5 years, my first job out of grad school was 50k in Boston (doesn’t go far there), then I was poached for a similar job for 100k.
Could not believe my luck - found the job just by happening to reply to a company’s recruiter on LinkedIn ☺️
1.5 years started at $72k
PwC3 has a point so I’ll share how I got there. Pretty simple, started at a junior level job doing DoD contract work, applied to a big tech company, and got the job. The company I’m at now values it’s engineers pretty highly, and it shows decently in compensation. $100k base, and bonus+stock puts me at $120k. In big tech this is probably on the lower end though😂
Currently at 95k. Took 3.5 yrs

Took me 2 years and started at 80k.
You make 100k as an accountant? I have friends in Atlanta that are managers at PWC audit and they’re barely at 100 (if that)
VHCOL city, S1 advisory groups are almost all above 100k bases now
Started 60
2.5 years - 96
I’m 3.5 years now hoping to hit that within the next few months
3.5 years, started in audit at 55k and now at 120k in consulting

I also made the same switch and unexpectedly WLB in consulting is way better now.
If anyone from pwc MC practice comments here, I would just like to know what is their salary for A and SA level ;)
5th year type mba typically wouldn’t get you the higher pay, usually those candidates are from target schools and have experience.
Strategy and tech pay more than MC, strategy is under strategy& and significantly more competitive.
Maybe risk? I’m in deals which is similar to
MC and our lcol start at 79

Just over 2 years started at 57k.
Sounds like you were in a delivery center if you were homegrown
2.5 years. Started at 53k
Started at 75k. Took 3 years to hit 100k.
This making manager at 4.5 years
To be fair, base is slightly below but with bonus I’ll be well into the $120s +
2.5 years, started at 58k
