If I’m concerned about high inflation and want a safe investment, is a TIPS ETF a good move?

That would help. If your portfolio is primarily equity, I would not be as concerned. If your portfolio is primarily fixed income, tips would help with unexpected inflation. They are priced to return the same as regular treasuries with expected inflation

How much $ do you keep in your checking/ saving account?
I recently started investing, and have about $20K in ETFs, MFs. With that I still have $80K+ in my bank accounts which I slowly plan to move into my brokerage account. How fast or slow should I transfer these funds into my brokerage account?
Ive also been toying with the idea of buying a house which makes me question whether I should tie up more money into investments atm or not. Investment noob here, if it wasn’t obvious already 😅

Genuinely curious. Do y’all think we’re in a bubble? Depending on the day I feel swayed by either argument. Meme stocks aside, equities seem incredibly overvalued, especially in tech and green energy/EVs and people are acting like nothing will change. However, with rates this low there is no where else to place money and there’s plenty of liquidity to go around. Are we in for inflation and a correction or the roaring 20s?
