What's a CLM
PC=performance counselor
OP- Sounds like you have initiated arbitration with this manager by involving a third party, which could be a career limiting move in itself. I’m curious what the issue is and if it is even something that you should address at all. You do realize that all complaints are not worthy of voicing, right? Sometimes in the corporate world, you just have to eat shit burgers.
Be a grown up and talk to the manager. Why even go to your PC
As long as you don’t get out of line it won’t be a CLM.
Not everyone knows what a PC is - reading this post at face value makes you sound like a crazy person :). If you have a partner you trust, go to them.
Have you talked to the manager directly?
I was told to wait until after the 15th to chat with said individual
So wait til the 15th and deal with them directly. If it isn’t resolved then go to a partner or HR.
Bunch of accounting sherms, just step up
I want to avoid any CLMs.....seems like an easy one to screw up
Career limiting move 🤣🤣🤣
I mean the 15th is only a few days away so I would try directly talking to them then...
Well what I initially did was ask my PC how I should resolve the situation. I understand I will need to work with all my superiors closely and often.
What’s the issue? If harassment or something personal - take it to HR. If management style, workload, etc. talk to the manager directly.
