If I’m near making out 6-year H1B, I go get MBA on F1. Will that reset the 6-year clock? Or I still have to be out of the country for a year?

Feeling completely uninspired by my current career choice (transaction consulting, 3 years post MBA). It obviously pays well, but I feel there must be something more meaningful out there. Any of you ever feel the same way and make a transition out of consulting to something that fulfills you more? If so, what change did you make?

Does your job do different sales contests? I have noticed my job only provides rewards on contests with Amazon gift cards but would much rather have a visa or Amex gift card. I am thankful of course but just wondering why they only offer AGC’s and incentive rewards…

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

Currently an Account Manager/Project Manager at PR Comms agency (1yr) and want to make the switch back to tech.

I have sales (both tech + retail), marketing, social media and account management experience (5 yrs total additional exp). I’m finding I’ll need a PMP or a Product Management cert to “have more experience” to get back in.

Is LSE MBA essentials 10 week online program worth it?

My fears:
- As there is no selection criteria (all you need to do is pay), the quality of the cohort might no be incredible for networking
- Do companies attribute any value to the certificate?
- Content revolving a lot on presentation learning and having little practical/case content

🐠 question for ya, my current h1b is expiring dec 2021 (approved I 140 with 2018 pd). In order for me to switch job my new employer has to file file for h1b transfer AND the green card application and not just the h1b for me to work beyond dec 2021, correct?

Just saw 485 status changed to card being produced! I cried really hard when I saw the message, it has been 12 years since I came here. Exhausted OPT and been through lottery 3 times without being selected, the 4th and last time my case was finally selected but it was rejected. Needed some advice. I had my submitted my ds160 application 3-4 months back and have my h1b visa interview appmnt scheduled in next month. Just a few days back I realized I need to edit my submitted ds160.Since there wasn't any option for that, I had to submit another ds160.
Question: At the time of interview, should I carry both my ds160 form?
