If landlord asked for personal check and you accidentally got a cashier’s check, is that an issue?

Shouldn’t be - cashiers checks are usually required because they are safer for them so don’t expect any issue

like

We actually don’t accept personal checks for the initial deposit, first month’s rent, etc., and require a cashier’s check/money order/wire, so I can’t imagine this would be a problem.

Cashiers check is more guaranteed. Idk why that’d be an issue

helpful

Cashier's check is much better than a personal check

Landlords and all other check recipients would 💯 agree

Weekly Hot take. I didnt find Breath of the wild all that amazing. It's a good game I find it fun but don't like the shrines compared to dungeons. It just felt like an extended tech demo alot of the times. The world was kinda empty compared to some other OWGs. Specify compared to skyrim since one selling point was the map is 4x as big as skyrim's.

I'm (27F) making 4x more than my partner (33M). How do you deal with significant income differences in your relationships?

I'm dating a guy and we just had a serious discussion about our finances. I just learned that I earn 4x more than him (200K). We're based in Portland, OR and he's a bank teller and I'm a designer fortunate to be paid SF rates. I'd like to get married and have kids one day and not feel the pressure of being the breadwinner. How have others managed a similar situation?

Had a really great convo with a friend who still hasn’t got the vax yet, and they said it opened their mind when I was willing to discuss with them openly and hear how they feel (I got the vax early). I’m curious, if you still haven’t been vaccinated what type of conversation might change your mind?
