If my employer applied for my marriage based green card and I leave 2 months after the submission, will I have to restart the application (either personally or through my new employer) or will the initial application hold?

So any further idea about this 'no H1B extension beyond 6yrs (while waiting on Green Card) thing'? What options if this thing goes through??

I am an American and I just recently accepted an offer to come down to Australia. I will be receiving visa sponsorship and I was wondering how long it has taken people to get their worker visas approved, I know the official statement is that it takes between 3-6 months but has anyone ever received theirs quicker than that?

Been 6 months since my i140 was Approved. Just started my 5th year of H1B, priority date not current and I’m from India.

Deloitte-Managerial round is completed and Infosys- they are asking for documents after 1st round.
My main point here is, TCS has raised H1b visa but my name was not picked this time. My goal is to go to onsite, but also worried about salary.

Hi fish, trying to figure out when to exit consulting. Currently i’m a specialist (one level below engagement manager), and will need additional ~1.5 year to make em. I have also have a green card complication, so need to wait for ~8 months before i can leave. So, would that make sense to stick around to make em? Or should I exit at once when green card is resolved?
I feel that it is hard to directly exit into a manager role even after promoting to em. What is your thoughts? TIA

One of my colleague on H1b joined Deloitte an year back. When he initiated his GC, there was law firm change happening in Deloitte and his request was placed on hold.
