Hi fishes,
got the offer from BNY Mellon | Pershing BNY Mellon Corporation Pune, India.
The offer letter mentions only fixed pay. HR told me that PF (employer), gratuity, and bonus (8%) are over and above fixed pay. But there is no mention of a bonus anywhere on offer. is this correct or am I getting tricked by HR? Help from current and ex BNYs is much appreciated.

Hi all! I am former federal government. I resigned due to lack of opportunities and growth. I am interested in a couple of Apple service roles within Pay, Care and SDS. Also, Amazon PM roles under Music, Live Sports and Brand Protection. However, with to the current economic conditions is it smarter to focus on fed roles versus Tech. I’ve never had a Tech role. I have a BS Mechanical Engineering and MBA. Any advice would be appreciated.
Anyone knows Siegfried's green card policy?

Hire an employment lawyer?
Agree. A lawyer in this area can help you value it. Probably do hourly or for flat fee to just negotiate severance vs bring a claim
perfect your claim (if it exists) by going through the proper HR channels and then based on that process, propose a mutually acceptable separation and release of claims
Speak to an employment attorney before you go to HR to determine the best strategy based on the circumstances.
You don’t get severance if you quit. It’s unlikely you’ll get anything.
Get an employment lawyer and paper your claim. Without a paper trail, you're not getting anything other than an escort to the door.
Friend of mine just had this happen to her. I believe she ultimately was paid out and signed an NDA. I would recommend contacting an employment law attorney. They can help you in the process.
Employment lawyer, they generally work on contingency - at least in CA they do.
You generally only get severance in exchange for a release of claims. Do you have a claim?
Yes. Sexual harrassment
Violated employment law impacting you, and so you want to quit? Or you witnessed on behalf of others and want to leave out of objection to the practice?
First, that’s horrible and I can only imagine what you’ve had to endure. Someone above suggested lawyering up; this sounds like the kind of layer cake that’s best cut with just such a knife.
