It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!

You will pay partial year NY. Make sure to establish residency in WA ASAP (get a driver’s license, change your home address on all banks and credit cards, register to vote, etc). Then when filing your taxes, you will file in both states the first year, on a pro-rated basis.

You'll be taxed in NY regardless. For the time you're living there and will need to file a part year return.

You'll be taxed in NY. Good news is there's no income tax in Washington so once you move you'll save some money... but until them you'll pay local tax in NY
Thanks all!
