Seattle doesn’t really have any income taxes so what specific taxes are you looking to mitigate? You can change your address on your my benefits page.

like

You can request for a change of work location address through Smart Forms request which will require managers approval. By this although Seattle do not have any state tax... the other small taxes such as WA paid family leave insurance, WA paid medical leave insurance and Washington L&I taxes will be excluded. I was a recent hire to Amazon... my joining location is supposed to be in Seattle... but due to present situations I am Working from home here in Texas! Hope this information helps ! 👍🏻

Yeah my only worry is if he asks me to move to Seattle now instead lol. That's definitely not something I want to do until Jan or until our wfh period ends. Thanks for ur help.

I like how you guys asked questions about amazon on consulting bowl are amazon employees 😁.

funny

Just to make the post visible to a larger number of people for answers lol

W2’s are based on your time jurisdiction in DTE which also dictates what state taxes you pay. Not sure if you set residency based on Deloitte address or you fill that in when doing your taxes - also not sure it matters
