Waking up for a 6 am flight and realizing you managed to lose your earbuds between now and when you left the office 6 hours ago. Smh
Hi Ladies, I was impacted by the COVID-19 layoffs a few weeks ago and let go from my job at Deloitte. I have 2 years experience as an IT Auditor with the big 4 and I am in search of a new job. I’m currently residing in Atlanta Any recommendations on where to apply would be greatly appreciated.
I have money in my traditional IRA and have been contributing to my 401k with post tax contributions. Every so often I move money from my 401k to my Roth IRA since I can’t directly contribute to it. Assuming I had no gains on the after tax 401k contributions, will I be taxed on part of the money since I have money in my traditional IRA? I keep reading that you shouldn’t have a traditional IRA open when you do the backdoor roth. Not sure if it’s related to the pro data rule.
Can anyone give me an idea of what a KYC/AML project typically consists of? Think I might be getting staffed on one soon...
I'm crowdsourcing advice for a good friend of mine at PwC. She just got passed up for Manager, has one more year on her H1B, and was told that her leadership wasn't sponsoring a GC. What would you do?
Need some emotional support - didn’t get this job I was interviewing for 4 months. The recruiter said team still loves your experience but not exactly what they are looking for, why drag it out for 4 months and 10 rounds of interviews 😭
Anyone have intel on Insight Partners? Looking at a role in their strategy and analytics team within Onsite. Seems the role spans both deal work & portfolio operations.. I see a lot of ex-mbb and bankers on linkedin so perhaps there is deal exposure. Can’t imagine an evercore M&A guy leaving for portfolio operations. But have never heard of them before so curious if anyone could provide some insight? (pun not intended)
Anyone else in an internal role? How do you like it? Would you switch over to a client facing position?
I really am sick of clients not taking Change Management (my specialty) seriously. It is so obvious that most people think it is a load of BS. It is starting to make me feel the same and question why I joined and stay in this industry at all. Any other OCM fish out there who can provide some advice or perspectives?
