Just in case you were wondering, Tinder is still pretty much exactly as you remember it.

After 48 hours on the site, I’ve had five matches; four of them I unmatched with because I knew it wouldn’t ever work so why waste anyone’s time, and the fifth unmatched me after I mentioned them being a spam bot (or whatever drives the fake accounts these days).

The handful of women’s that could be a great fit, of course haven’t matched, because I’m sure 99,999 other guys also felt the same way.

Buy/lease now or defer to Q1-2023?

My car broke (engine seized, 10y old). I am interested in 530i ($62k price), however 3year lease is $1,000+ monthly (with $5k down). Monthly lesse payment is 50% more than bmw advertised offers (“south FL dealers are not participating in the program”)

Q to car gurus/experts- should I defer purchase/lease for 6 months? My logic, the impending recession will reduce demand and we will go back to more balanced market (lower prices with negotiation).

Thinking about buying a used luxury vehicle (BMW 4 series, Jaguar XF, Audi, etc), target $30K-$35K, less than 20K miles, and <3 years old. Any suggestions about target models? I don’t like the idea of buying new because of the premium/immediate depreciation, and leasing feels restrictive. Is this a bad idea?

Some cars you dreamed about when you were younger that when you got to the age where you could drive one, you realized, man, I’d rather be in something else! I tried getting to an Aventador a few years ago when my M5 was being serviced and I realized I was too bulky to get in. When I was looking for. Y current daily driver, I thought about leasing an Alfa Romeo, it again, too bulky to get in. I looked into getting a C6 Corvette before, and then realized that driving one would kill my back.
