Unpopular take: I find it extremely wrong that medical professionals in the US wear scrubs everywhere. It defeats the very purpose of scrubs (called “scrubs” because they were to be worn in a “scrubbed” environment to protect patients and prevent infections from spreading). In many countries it’s illegal for doctors to wear scrubs outside the hospital. I think US medical personnel do that to “virtue signal”
