If TCS Hyderabad offices are opening to work from office and I am assigned with Adibatla (of Hyderabad) location which is 30 away (4 hours travel everyday) from my own property, what are the options I will have to undo it..? Note: I am new joinee and yet to get a project. *Except the option of switching the job to other company*

Currently in industry, on the product side with previous consulting background. I don’t like the grind of consulting, but Salesforce CSG (prof services) reached out with a BA role. I’m also in the process of interviewing at FICO as well. I like that the FICO is on the internal product side, but Salesforce has a great reputation. Feeling like I don’t know what I want. For reference, I’m leaving my current place because of terrible leadership & back to office 5x a week/no flexibility. Any advice?

Any idea for how long TCS has extended work from home?? I want to join for kolkata location. During my interview i was told that its now PAN india for the project. Does that mean i can work from Kolkata location even if the project location is something else??

I’m dating someone new and it is going very well. He is kind, not high strung, with great values and shares my sense of humor. It is so easy and natural to spend multiple days with him. However he is not really interested in world affairs, does not follow the news closely, does not have a strong grasp

What’s the worst reaction you have seen a client have to typos or syntactical errors in work product? Everyone loves to say “typos are all clients see”, “perfection is part of the job” etc. But have you actually experienced really negative client reactions based on typos? Honestly asking. I’m a 5th year and while I’ve definitely seen clients notice typos, the only time I ever saw one mad about it involved a startup founder who was predisposed to complain about everything for discounts

Hi bowl, I'm not okay today. I woke up feeling off, then my project told us that my workstream is ending this coming Friday. I feel like an after thought, I feel so anxious and so tired. Just made status with Delta. Do you have to request upgrades or are you auto on the upgrade list. Also if you get upgraded to delta comfort and it's a middle seat can you switch back to previous seat?

Are month ends in industry just as bad as busy season? I had an interview this week and they talked about working 60s at month end. Not sure if that’s a red flag.

Why I love gardening & houseplants… I brought this fatsia japonica in for the winter in early Nov. It looked like it was fully dead for about a month. Each time I saw it I thought about where it would be better in terms of sun & resisted the urge to water it. Then last weekend my partner found some macramé & I was showing him how it works when we had an idea. We hung the plant and suddenly it has perked back up. I’m not even sure I’ll put it back in the landscape in the spring I love it so much!

Hi Moms- Curious to get a sense of what your different parental leave policies look like and how you have liked them. My company gave 12 weeks paid and I felt it was woefully short for my first. Before having my second, I'm interested in pushing my company to increase the time and am curious to hear what other companies offer. Beyond just the time, was your company flexible? Is it the same for all parents? Did it feel like enough? Thank you!
