If the difference between a 3 year old used car and a brand new car is about $9k what would you do?

Get the used car.

like

There’s rarely any point in buying a brand new car given how quickly they depreciate.

Used car

like

New car if it has more/better features, and the mileage on the old one is high

like

Mileage is an important consideration assuming both come with similar options.

like

I would get it used. Prestige and premium plus are trim levels and prestige is top of the line for trim levels. The Q5 got a facelift for 2021 but IMO it’s not worth buying new for this facelift. I have a 19 SQ5 prestige that I bought used off lease in February 20. Let someone else take the 30k hit.

like

Need more information but usually better used. What are both cars? How long do you plan to hold it for?

like

Mileage in the broader sense as already mentioned, but be sure to check tires, oil etc.
The additional repairs can cost a ton.

like

Usually used. What kind of car? How much debt do you have?

like

Buying a 3 year old car off a lease is a great compromise between brand new and saving money!

like

Nope not offended! Just reminding folks that some people return a leased car with 5k miles on it, others return it with 60k miles. Since OP provided no details on the situation, I’m letting them know that this compromise does have a few factors to consider

like

Which one is more reliable and do you keep cars until they stop working or do you trade them in often? The answer usually, get the used car.

like

What car? This is far too little information to give informed advice. Does the used car still have manufacturer warranty? How many miles does it have? Does it have a bunch of scheduled services coming up? Are those services expensive?

like

2018 Audi Q5 prestige (20k) miles vs a 2021 premium plus.

Used

like

New

like

More information: Audi Q5 prestige 2018 vs 2021 premium plus used car currently has 20k miles with 2 year warranty remaining.

Depends highly on mileage and expected depreciation of the new car.

20k mileage

I would keep my car. Unless its giving you problems.

Hey guys,

I have got an on-site opportunity from my company but the package they have provided seems less to me as per my work experience. Current YOE 12. Provided package for on-site (US - New Jersey) is 74.6 K.

What should be the minimum package offering and is there any negotiation possible.

D said we will all move to Central Business Service (CBS)

We will no longer be under Executive Service Center (ESC)

Although management says it will have no impact on us, am suspecting that's not the case.

Does KPMG, EY and PWC have a central support system?

Please, share your thoughts as am thinking that moving to CBS we will lose some perks.
