I got through all the rounds of interviews (including 2 technical panels) at CrowdStrike before being assured that I was nearing the end of the process and was expected to receive an offer soon… almost two weeks ago now? Anyone else experienced this kind of delay from CS or similarly sized organizations? Did I get ghosted? Anything more I should be doing?

As soon as I’m done with my tasks, theres another pile of easy tasks to do. I’ve tried to be pro-active and be excited for harder tasks, but it’s pretty obvious that the manager is investing more time into that associate. As of right now, i’m trying to learn as much as I can with these tasks but there’s not much of a learning curve involved. How can i change this outcome or prevent it from happening again in a future engagement?
Is the other associate higher than you? Usually it’s just the work needs to get done and the lowest on the totem pole has to do it. Or maybe it’s the scheduling. If it’s clear it’s favoritism, I’d explain this situation to your coach and if possible have an area you specifically want to work on. Sometimes you have to be political and word it as wanting to work in x area, instead of not wanting to work in y area.
Happened to me and I just kept bugging my manager about wanting to get more experience in a specific area until they did. If this continues to be an issue even after you ask the manager, go one level above them to see if they can help, it do it respectfully
