Serious question: I’m 25. It seems like over a dozen people I graduated with are now Product Managers at FAANG companies. Yet every time I look at PM job postings at big tech companies, they almost always require 7+ years of experience, 5 at the least. How are so many people getting PM positions 2-3 years out of school? … as someone who has (unsuccessfully) been trying to break into a FAANG company, it’s quite frustrating to see.

For those who have worked at multiple FAANG companies, what are the biggest differences between them?

Which FAANG has the best WLB for its in house counsel? I’ve heard Amazon is basically just big law hours. I’ve also heard Google attorneys similarly work a ton. Any of them offer close to a 9-5 MF job?

Recruiting at Meta vs Amazon/AWS, what are your thoughts? Culture? Compensation? Metrics? Perks? Growth? And is any other FAANG any better? I would love to hear from you fishies!

Question to the bowl - I am working in Deloitte PMO Analyst with cumulative work ex 2.5 years. I want to move to Program Management in FAANG. But for all the posts I see work ex is more than 3 years with an MBA. So, Should I go for an MBA first or should I apply for the same roles. I am mainly aiming Amazon.

Hi Guys, I am confused between Thoughtworks and Amazon. (Better CTC at Amazon). Thoughtworks: overall good work culture and benefits but a service-based company. Amazon: Product-based company, FAANG tag but really messed up work culture and pip program. Which one to go for?
