Hello fishes, I have 15 plus years of experience and got an offer from DXC 34 lpa plus JB. In my prior company I was an Senior Manager , got 23.5 lpa. My grade as DXC offer letter is L5. Is this a good offer? My primary focus is on work life balance as I had literally none in my previous company(cognizant).DXC TechnologyCognizant
Deloitte GPS Business Analyst vs Mercer Health Consulting Analyst?
Deloitte's offer is 7K more and in a cheaper area. Equal interest in both jobs, slight preference for Mercer for people + culture. Leaning towards Mercer because I graduate in Dec and can start in Jan vs having to wait until next summer for Deloitte + location (although higher COL)

Hi guys,
How to claim internet allowance in tcs.
I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

I think people enjoy complaining, it builds the comaraderie. We work hard, we complain. It relieves stress. I love my job, but there are always things to complain about. I have never had a job where no one complained.
Because leaving would lead us to enter another hellhole of a job, and changing the profession is either 1. Nearly impossible for most people with 5-10 years of experience or 2. gonna make you take a pay cut which most of us do not want ... or both.
Some people get into a situation where they're so desperate to leave that they take the pay cut. Believe it or not, there's a lot of work places with extremely toxic environments and people occupying them. Some people are too afraid to leave because of the risk of getting caught in a worse situation and then there's some who are so desperate that they'd take a pay cut to just escape. I've seen it several times.
And also I misread the post I also thought it said to leave the industry and go into another one. That's where most people take the pay cut because many times you have to start at level 1.
I opted to leave and I'm 1000x happier. You have to determine if you actually hate the job or just the situation. And if you're taking a pay cut to leave, you're just a fool.
Isn't the problem the supply of accounting grads is greater than the demand for entry level accountants? If you are a partner, why would you change anything if there is an endless supply of qualified candidates that would take your position in a heartbeat
How else would you get certified? It's not really an option if you want more job opportunities in the future
Do you really think the environment would change? They designed it this way for a reason...
So naive. Unfortunately you'll see why. Good luck changing the world. Seriously, I'm with you. We need more
